Times are tough for celebrity Nene Leake and her famiily.
Earlier today, a video of celebrity, Nene Leakes confronting a fan at her Lounge, The Linnethia Lounge’ went viral after a guest called the reality star rude for not wishing them a happy birthday. Many fans took Nene’s side saying celebrities are human too.
Following the incident, Nene Leakes took to the floor to address the individual in front of a packed house, telling them, ‘you never know what someone is going through. However, what became a shock to everyone across social media was Nene revealing her husband Gregg Leakes was at home dying and will not be here in a couple of days.
“My husband [Gregg Leakes] is transitioning to the other side [inaudible]. The real truth is you’re rude. You don’t know what we’re dealing with right now. We walk through this lounge because we have to walk through here because this is our business. So when people approach you and say you’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday – My husband is at home dying, and I don’t want to say happy birthday, Ok, So please give us some respect, give us some love. That’s what we ask you to do,” the celebrity requested from guests.
Immediately following the video release, Prayers began pouring in for Nene and Gregg Leakes family from fans and celebrities. Loni Love and Sherri Shepherd gave a quick story about meeting Gregg Leakes while on the ‘Ladies Night Out’ tour with Nene Leakes, asking fans to keep the family in prayers.
Shortly after, Nene Leakes shared a message on her Instagram account saying she’s “BROKEN” with prayer hands and a broken heart.
